Support the Fight

The workforce is shrinking.

Finding and keeping healthy employees is an even bigger challenge when you consider that upwards of 50% of the workforce decline is due to opioid abuse. As a community of business leaders, we have the power to change this.

Fighting from the front lines

  • Ohio is the epicenter of the nation’s drug epidemic with 3 Ohio cities in the top 10 for overdoses.
  • 13 people die each day in Ohio from an overdose.
  • *631 million pills dispensed in 2016 in Ohio. That is 54 pills for every man, woman and child.
  • 4 out of every 5 heroin users started with prescription opioids.

Solve it here and teach the nation how!

Akron’s history includes the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous, so it makes perfect sense to be the place where drug addiction solutions/recovery is born.

It all starts with a little HOPE
